Licensing Direct™ enjoys experience at highly productive SHOT Show 2011…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Licensing Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with a closing summary on our experiences at the SHOT Show 2011, which wrapped up earlier Friday. The event lived up to its promise as one of the most prolific editions of the show yet, with a record setting 31,769 buyers and overall attendance of 57,390, according to an official press release put out by the show organizers!

These numbers apparently ranked the just completed 2011 show as the third largest ever behind the 2008 and 2010 editions. Approximately 1,600 companies were featured on the exhibit floor of the Sands Convention Center, providing our trade show contingent with ample opportunity to establish new relationships with manufacturers and solidify previously established ones. Licensing Direct™ representatives will begin the process of following up with many of these companies as early as next week, with the goal being to enroll as many as possible in our invention and patent information delivery service for manufacturers, Innovation Direct™.

The SHOT Show 2011 was truly a global event also, as over 100 countries were represented at the show, providing Licensing Direct™ with the potential opportunity to engage in truly global dialogue regarding the patents and inventions that we represent. With such a positive and successful 2011 experience, the countdown to the 2012 edition, taking place next January 17th-20th, is already underway!

Licensing Direct™ hits the ground running with dynamic first days at SHOT Show 2011 and World of Concrete 2011…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Licensing Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with an update on our attendance at both the SHOT Show 2011 and World Of Concrete events taking place concurrently between January 18th and 21st in Las Vegas. Our staff is hard at work at both of these exciting exhibits, networking with the wide variety of exhibitors present on behalf of Invent-Tech’s inventors.

The first day of major trade shows are usually replete with activity, and we are told that the proceedings at both the Las Vegas Convention Center and Sands Exhibition Center certainly lived up to the reputation during Day 1. Our trade show contingent noted that the SHOT Show in particular seemed to feature more top executives and suits and ties than in previous years where the style has been decidedly laid back and casual.

We will have more detailed news regarding specific manufacturers met at each of the respective events as our colleagues have the opportunity to provide it. Stay tuned to the Invent-Tech Network Blog for the latest!

Licensing Direct™ prepares to kick off 2011 trade show schedule with a “blast” on behalf of Invent-Tech inventors; SHOT Show 2011 first stop on the itinerary…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Licensing Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, chiming in with an update regarding the next trade show exhibit on our schedule. We are pleased to announce that for the 6th consecutive year, Licensing Direct™ will participate in the SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show) Show 2011, and the event will mark the beginning of the new year’s trade show itinerary. The 2011 edition of the show will take place January 18th-21st at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas for the 2nd consecutive year.

As per the SHOT Show’s official website, the event is considered the most extensive and comprehensive trade show for those involved with the shooting sports and hunting industries. It is considered the world’s premier exposition of combined firearms, ammunition, archery, cutlery, outdoor apparel, optics, camping and related products and services. Additionally, the show is truly an international event, as buyers from all 50 states and over 100 countries are expected.

In our previous experiences, the SHOT Show has been an excellent opportunity for networking with manufacturers in the camping, hunting, outdoor, sporting goods, and even pet industries. Numerous contacts have been made over the years by our representatives at this event that remain a part of our Innovation Direct™ program to this day, and that have reviewed and seriously considered a number of inventions from our roster during that span. Naturally, we expect the 2011 proceedings to be similarly fruitful and productive!

Licensing Direct™ enjoys productive and successful visit to 2 foremost automotive industry trade shows on behalf of Invent-Tech inventors…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Licensing Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with a report on our experiences at the 2 foremost trade shows in the automotive industry, the SEMA Show and AAPEX. The two exhibits ran semi-concurrently in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the SEMA Show occupying the 4 day span of November 2nd-5th and the AAPEX proceedings stretching from November 1st-3rd. As has been the case for the previous 7 years, Licensing Direct™ fully embraced the opportunity to walk the aisles of both events, which featured the leading manufacturers in a multitude of categories from all over the world.

The SEMA (Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association) Show was extremely well-attended and spectacularly accessorized, as customary. The particularly valuable aspect of this exhibit is that it manages to expertly balance the equation of quality and quantity each year. With an abundance of over-sized exhibits and a variety of eye-catching new automobile designs prominently on display from the world’s leading auto makers, the SEMA Show certainly does not lack in style. By the same token, with an overflow of exhibitors interested in doing business and enhancing their current product lines, the event also offers plenty of substance.

The AAPEX (Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo) Show, the “nuts and bolts” component of the SEMA/AAPEX trade show pairing, has also been a productive staple of Licensing Direct™’s  itinerary for several years. The AAPEX event features the leading manufacturers and marketers of the multi million dollar automotive aftermarket and serves as a less visually stunning yet just as productive networking forum for companies such as ours. This year’s proceedings brought about new opportunities to speak with a variety of exhibitors who we hope to integrate into our dynamic new product information delivery service, Innovation Direct™, as soon as possible.

SEMA and AAPEX certainly served as fitting events to close out the Licensing Direct 2010 trade show ledger, and we already look forward to kicking of 2011 with another terrific experience at the SHOT Show! Stay tuned to the Invent-Tech Network Blog for all trade show-related news!

Licensing Direct™ ready to make it a November to Remember at SEMA and AAPEX Show 2010…

Hello, Juan C. Blanco, Licensing Direct™’s Director of Product Licensing, checking in with a report on the final stop of our 2010 trade show itinerary. Licensing Direct is pleased to confirm that we will once again be attending the leading U.S.-based trade shows of the automotive industry, SEMA 2010 and the AAPEX Show 2010. The events run semi-concurrently during the first week of November in Las Vegas, Nevada. The SEMA (Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association) Show will take place November 2-5 at the Las Vegas Convention Center; AAPEX, meanwhile, will be housed at what has become its customary venue the last few years, November 2-4 at the Sands Exposition Center at the Venetian Hotel and Casino.

As per their official website, the SEMA Show attracts more than 100,000 industry leaders from the automotive field hailing from more than 100 countries. During last year’s edition of the proceedings, the SEMA Show attracted more than 50,000 domestic and international buyers. New products and innovations are certainly a significant part of the show’s focus, as over 1,500 new products were featured in the event’s New Product Showcase last year. 12 major sections make up the SEMA Show, allowing for the automotive, truck motorcycle, RV, and SUV markets to be well represented.

The AAPEX (Automotive Aftermarket Products Exposition) Show is the perfect partner show to SEMA, as the automotive aftermarket garners profits of approximately $395 billion annually, as per the show’s official website. Much like SEMA, AAPEX attracts visitors and exhibitors from all over the globe. In fact, over 50,000 total buyers visited the 2009 edition of the event.

As always, Licensing Direct™ looks forward to being a part of such an exciting productive trade show environment. Check back with the Invent-Tech Network for all future updates regarding the SEMA and AAPEX Shows!
